With this privacy policy, we would like to inform you about how we process personal data on the Pelvina daily app (the “App”). We are aware of the importance the processing of personal data has for the user, and observe all relevant legal requirements accordingly. The protection of your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.

We protect the privacy of children. That is why you should be at least 18 years old to make use of the pelvina daily services such as the app or newsletter.

The app is not “directed to children” as that term is defined under U.S. Federal Law Title 16 C.F.R. § 312.2. We do not collect information of children under 13. If you believe that we have information of a child under 13, please contact us at support@pelvina.com.

Personal data

Personal data is all information about information that can reasonably be used to identify you. This includes information and details such as your name, address or any other postal address, telephone number or your e-mail address.

Your data is processed on the following legal basis:

  • With regard to the data that you provide in forms etc., with your consent, Article 6(1) point (a) GDPR

  • In relation to services that you use to perform a contract entered into with you, Article 6(1) point (b) GDPR

  • Furthermore, in particular with statistical data and online identifiers, based on legitimate interests, Article 6(1) point (f) GDPR (see below)

Data sources

Unless otherwise stated, we will receive the data from you (including via the devices used by you).

Data transfer to third countries

Data is transferred to third countries outside of the European Union. This is done on the basis of statutory contractual provisions, which are intended to ensure the adequate protection of your data and which you may view upon request. 

Retention period

We store your data,

  • if you have consented to the processing of the same, but at the most until you revoke your consent,

  • if we need the data to perform a contract, but at most for as long as the contractual relationship with you exists, or as long as the statutory retention period applies,

if we use the data on the basis of a legitimate interest, but at most for as long as your interest in erasure or anonymization does not outweigh our interest.

Purpose

We only collect personal data to the extent and for the purpose for which you provided the data to us, for example as part of making them available during registration.

We use and store your personal data as part of our services for the following purpose: To process customer service requests and to communicate with users


 

Data Security

We have taken extensive technical and organizational measures to protect your data against possible dangers, such as unauthorized access, unauthorized knowledge, modification or distribution, as well as loss, destruction or misuse. 

In order to protect your personal data from unauthorized access by third parties during transmission, we secure the data transmission using SSL encryption. This is a standardized encryption method for online services, and especially for web services.

 

In addition we store data encrypted in rest.

Data Storage​

All of our pelvina daily services are running Amazon Web Services and the all data is stored in the region that we determine the user to belong in (USA for US customers, UK for UK Customers, EU for EU regions etc.). We do not use 3rd party analytics for tracking user behaviour within our apps. Within our AWS based hosting we may store non-personal information, including usage behavior such as logs and metrics in order to perform business analysis or to troubleshoot issues within the application. This, and all our other data, is stored with enterprise-grade encryption at REST techniques. Log data is only retained for a limit period of time after which it is permanently deleted.

Sharing Your Data​

For various functions, our app uses third-party service providers. We do not share your data with any third party apart from the service providers listed below.


 

NewRelic

We use NewRelic services for monitoring and log aggregation in order to troubleshoot issues within our product. Data is stored within their EU datacenters for EU and UK customers or US datacenters for our US customers. Access to this product is strictly limited to operations teams and solely used for debugging and troubleshooting application issues. As far as possible measures are taken to ensure logs are free of personal data. Furthermore, logs are retained only for 30 days after which they are permanently deleted.

Online payment

For payment processing, only payment-relevant data is transmitted to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Please note the data protection regulations and terms of use of your respective app store operator, Apple App Store and Google Play. 


 

Customer service
 

Freshdesk / Freshworks Inc.

We use the customer service tool Freshdesk from the provider Freshworks Inc., 1250 Bayhill Drive, Suite 315, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, in order to process user inquiries faster and more efficiently.

Freshworks only uses user data for the technical processing of inquiries and does not pass them on to third parties. To use Freshdesk, a correct e-mail address is required as a minimum. As part of the processing of service inquiries, it may be necessary to collect further data (e.g. name or address).

If users do not agree to data being collected and stored in Freshworks' external system, we will offer them alternative contact options for submitting service inquiries by e-mail, telephone or post.

Rights of the data subject

Right to access, rectification, revocation, complaint, erasure and blocking.

  • You have the right to request information on whether and which personal data is processed by us. You also have the right to request that your personal data be rectified or completed. 

  • Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request that your personal data be erased.

  • Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

  • You may withdraw your consent to the processing and use of your data in full or in part at any time with effect going forward.

  • You have the right to receive your personal data in a commonly used, structured and machine-readable format.

  • You may also contact our data protection officer in writing with questions, comments and complaints, as well as requests for information in connection with our declaration on data protection and the processing of your personal data.

  • You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, if you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates legal provisions.
